Oxford Real Farming Conference 2020 @ St Aldates Church & Oxford Town Hall

The 2020 Oxford Real Farming Conference (ORFC) will be held in the St Aldates Church and Oxford Town Hall on 8th & 9th January. As always, this unique gathering of the UK’s sustainable and organic food and farming movements will offer a practical mix of on-farm advice, showcasing new techniques for best practice in agroecological farming, as well as broader discussions on what is needed for creating real change in our broken food system.

If you are a small-scale farmer, grower or producer you can choose a discounted £60 ticket for both days of the conference. For everyone else, a two-day ticket is £80.

Delegates can also choose to attend one of two locally-sourced dinners on Wednesday evening (8th). One is being hosted by Compassion in World Farming and the Pasture-Fed Livestock Association at Turl Street Kitchen and the other will be hosted by the Real Farming Trust at the Vaults & Garden in Radcliffe Square. The tickets for each of these cost £35. As always, everyone is welcome to attend a music and dancing session with a bar, hosted by the Landworkers’ Alliance, which is held in the Church.

This two-day conference offers opportunities to connect with others from across the food and farming sector, hear from experts in the field, and participate in discussions and workshops about how we can meet the challenges of producing good, healthy food in innovative and environmentally sustainable ways.

Early registration will take place from 6pm to 9pm on the evening of 7th January in the St Aldates Church, where our bar will be open and food will be available to buy market-style.

Please note that ORFC organisers can’t be responsible for bad weather or climate change and any cancellations that occur because of that.
